2 checkmates that are easy to learn!
Almost every chess game is ended by a checkmate but not all games end with the same one. There are different checkmates from well-known ones to rare or even not-know checkmates that are yet to be discovered but we're focusing on the easy checkmates today. One of the most well-known checkmates is the fools mate. It is better if started by black so this is how it goes:
1.f3 (or f4) e5
2.g4?? (if moved f4, hope they don't take e5 pawn) Qh4#
Another easy checkmate is the scholars mate where you get your queen out early to checkmate but if defended correctly, can lead to a bad position on the board. It goes like this:
1.e4 e5
2.Bc4 (attacking f7) Nc6
3.Qh5 (another piece attacking f7, preparing for 'mate) Nf6??
4.Qxf7#
These 2 checkmates are rarely used on grandmasters but can be effective on low times. These checkmates as well as being easy to pull off, can be easy to block but I'm running out of time so you're going to have to figure them out yourself.
