Ah The Gloom, The Gloom!
I had a 13 game win streak. I was improving. the day was going well Ah the gloom! It was:
Week # 3 Day # 6 Rating 1262 + 96 points 13 wins in a row. that was how the day started.
But this is the Chronicle of Excheqquer a chronic nonimprover, a static patzer, a languid chess player, an inert blob that stank up the 64 squares, in other words I was stock-still, and my ratings were leaden, and despite giving the Chess.com Study Plan a test. I am still prone to miscalculations.
And I lost 2 games in a row!
I worked on my puzzles
Puzzles 1510-1763
I had finished the : Study Plan Directory - Chess.com for beginners and I began to have aspirations of greatness. Was I ready to move on?
I had joined Chessables and bought Shankland's course for the d4 player. My intention was to use that for opening theory. Do Puzzles for tactics, as well as videos. Strategy I was going to reread Russian Chess by Pandolfini. For the endgame I do have Silman's book on endgames, which I will continue to work on, as well as Secrets of Pawn Endings.
I put in the work and then played these blunderfests.
I am still Excheqquer a chronic nonimprover, a static patzer, a languid chess player, an inert blob that stinks up the 64 squares!
Rating 1246 (down -16 points today) still up 80 points overall ( I guess )
