Patzer back in the saddle

I have not posted for about a year. Not that there has been an outcry. But I do like to analyze games. And I do like to post them. So...

In other news my latest novel is now available on Amazon, A World of Slanted Light by Marvin Brauer. 

And I have been asked to coach chess at my grandson's private school. I'm delighted. I do enjoy teaching. 

But as for this game, it was the first game of 30 minute chess contest on Chess.com. I need to play more. I found myself behind, and then got a couple of breaks to get a win. My opponent played an outstanding opening.
