The Patzer Chronicles: Breaking 2400

That would be 2400 in puzzles! Which is not at all like 2400 in chess! Not at all. Still, 2400 in puzzles on Chess.com puts me in the top 98th percentile and that's pretty good. Really good. Especially since, you know, I am not a young whipper snapper anymore.  Those days are long gone.  But 2400 in puzzles! Woohoo. And I'm making sure to announce that now, before I hit the puzzles again and lose it all! 

In other news, I'm playing some over-the-board games against a friend. I'm trying to get ready for my over-the-board tournament in Irvine in a couple of weeks. I'd like to win some games this time. My record in real chess, you know real pieces, with real time controls, is not that grand. Rather patzer like, to be honest. 

On Chess.com I got a win, a draw, and a loss this week.  Meh.  My thinking during the game is muddled. If you look through the games and have any advice, I'm all ears.
