I... WON?!?!?

Hello everybody! I just got back from st cloud! I had an absolute blast playing classical chess again and im happy to be able to share it with all of you! After this tournament I should be 1370 ideally. Progress!

Game 2 was eh... a bit more sloppy, as It was my only loss of the tournament against a heavily underrated person.

Game 3 was a late night game, faced some child rated higher than me, showed him why my rating is most definitely not 1240. Tried to bounce back from my loss and managed to snag a semi clean win here in the endgame.

Round 4 I came in with some caffeine, a good mental attitude, and plenty of rest. At least until I found out he was the best player in the section... and part of the MSCA Board, the people who organize all of these tournaments... Here is my game vs him! With a shockingly brilliant ending!

I was super hyped after that game, I took a quick nap and prepared for round 5, as now all I had to do was win and the people on board one had to lose and I would win the whole tournament along with 250$!!! Luckily, I pulled off the win, lets see how!

What an amazing tournament, im so happy to be back in the grind, up next is the state blitz and then the next leg in the grand prix series! Thanks to everyone who reads this! And good luck in your chess journeys.
