The Greatest Rivalry of all time
Forget Messi vs Ronaldo, Magnus and Hikaru...
Its FourCubedLegend vs Gual777, a strong German player with some incredible hair. We have played 8 times since I created this account, 8 legendary games. From 1600 rating to 1900 rating, this rivalry has raged on.
Enough talk, lets see the games:
Dang, after a long battle I made a fatal error. But from this day on I swore vengeance on my mortal enemy. Until we meet again Gual777.
The exact same position from the opening as before, clearly a battle of the century by 2 expert players, now we were tied 1-1, and I spent the next month of my life preparing for the next confrontation between me and Gual777.
My preparation paid off, I sent him back to the chess graveyard with that cheek clapping. Mildly anticlimactic, but no way he falls for it again.
(Also a side note, all 3 of these next games occured on the same day. August 2nd.)
This guy sucks, low on time and super excited at the chance to beat him twice in a row; I accidentally stalemate and draw him. Whatever, I challenge him to a rematch and he accepts, lets see how it goes:
