Chess 2 Change!

Welcome to Chess 2 Change the most life changing chess tournament ever!

Chess 2 Change is a charity tournament held on August 25th (12 noon - 4pm US Eastern Time) in favor of African children from humble backgrounds in Hand & Brain format. The kids are being paired up with supporters and business people from the whole world. The kids are the brain (responsible for announcing the piece to move) and the adults are the hand (responsible for moving the named piece). The business people also sponsor the kids with a donation that helps them forward both in chess and in life and goes to food, clothes, chess boards, books, internet, gadgets, trips, chess training, housing, starting fees, school fees and tournament expenses.

The games are played on chess.com with GM Maurice Ashley and GM Ben Finegold doing the commentaries in the broadcast that can be watched on www.twitch.tv/chess2change
