Dear Chess Friends!

Have you ever thought of how to build your opening repertoire? Of course, you should choose something competitive, which at the same time suits your playing style. However, I usually see that a lot of chess players watched something on Youtube and just decided to start playing it without any analysis and without any understanding of typical ideas and plans. Some other chess players look for traps, but get a worse position when their opponent deviates.

Building opening repertoire is a tough process: many factors should be taken into account. However, there is an opening that I recommend to almost everyone. It’s Evans Gambit (1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 Bc5 4.b4!? Bxb4 5.c3)

the main concept of which it to sacrifice a pawn, force Black to lose several tempi with bishop moves, but to occupy the center with e4 & d4-pawns or, at least, to obtain initiative.

This is what you are going to learn on my mastermind “Opening Repertoire: Evans Gambit”. And I’m glad to invite you there.

The mastermind started on Sunday (9th of October) at 11 a.m. (EDT), 3 p.m. (GMT), 6 p.m. (Moscow time).

Please, watch the recording in case you missed it.

I got Master's Degree in Economics at Novosibirsk State University and also played for its chess team.

Today I am focusing on teaching chess online and offline. The reason why I do this is because I feel happy when see how my students achieve success.

I teach juniors since 2002. Almost all of my students were ranked. Some of them got prizes at Novosibirsk region Championship.
I also work with adults.

I will teach you how to find tactical strikes in certain position types and how to classify them. I can help you to improve you calculational ability. I also teach you chess openings and I believe you know how important they are. According to the statistics right-playing of the opening makes from 30 to 60% of your success (the exact number depends on your level).
Please, check my youtube videos to know how I teach and what you will achieve working with me.
