Webinar 26. Knight vs Bishop
Dear Chess Friends!
Thank you for attending my previous webinar where I conducted a Simul. I really appreciate that you came, played and watched. The score was 7:0 (I won all games), but on some of them my opponents had real chances at least to equalize the position and may be draw the game then. The next Simul will be in a few weeks.
As for this week, I’m going to conduct a webinar about the positional play – Webinar 26. “Knight vs Bishop”. You know usually bishops are better than knights because of their long reach and I’m going to show how to play with knight against bishop in the middlegame and endgame.
I will explain the cases when knight is stronger than bishop and then we’ll analyze classical games played by GMs to illustrate these situations:
- Bobby Fischer – Julio Bolbochan
- Mikhail Botvinnik – Leonid Stein
- Alexander Alekhine – Savielly Tartakower
If you want to learn how to play with a knight vs bishop, understand basic principles and concepts and clearly define whether to trade your bishop for a knight or not, you should definitely attend this webinar!
The webinar starts on Sunday (29th of March) at 10 a.m. (EDT), 2 p.m. (GMT), 5 p.m. (Moscow time). This webinar is free.
Please, register for the webinar with this link: https://clc.to/KnightvsBishop
