Webinar 53. Simultaneous Exhibition with FM Victor Neustroev
Dear Chess Friends!
It’s time for Simultaneous Exhibition! I almost recovered from COVID-19 and I’m ready to prove that this disease doesn’t affect intellectual abilities. I know examples when people who had COVID-19 couldn’t concentrate on something and their IQ level decreased. For example, there was a guy with IQ of 125 before the disease and when he tested it after his recovery it was only 96! However, I think it’s not about chess skills and not about me. I’m still able to calculate lines and find tactical combinations, but I get tired much faster than it was before and can lose the concentration during the game. And this is your chance to outplay a titled player, I think!
Come to the Simul and show me what you can and what you learned from the webinars I conducted. This Sunday I decided to conduct a Simultaneous Exhibition instead of the ordinary webinar!
How does it work? You can attend this webinar as a player or just a spectator.
If you want to be a player – register for the webinar and message me at tricksofchess@gmail.com that you would like to attend the webinar as a player (point your chess.com username in this message). This exhibition is limited to 10 players only. That’s why I recommend you to register right now and reserve your spot. When we start the webinar, just log into your chess.com account and send me a challenge (30’+30”, unrated). My nickname on chess.com is Gertsog.
If you want to be a spectator – just come to the webinar, look at the screen, suggest moves and lines or just comment it. I’m going to comment my moves and ideas too!
What do you get from such a webinar? First of all, you get an opportunity to play with a titled chess player. Second, you will learn how the master thinks:
- What to take into account before making a move
- What is useless (or doesn’t deserve our attention)
- How to evaluate the position
- And how to come with a plan in a complicated position
That’s why I welcome you to my 53rd chess webinar “Simultaneous Exhibition with FM Victor Neustroev”!
If we have enough time, after finishing the games we can analyze them.
The webinar starts on Sunday at 10 a.m. (EST), 3 p.m. (GMT), 6 p.m. (Moscow time). This webinar is free.
