Machine Killer

Machine Killer

My eldest Son, aka “Machine Killer” in chess, is in need of a miracle. Many, many years ago, I swore an oath, I made a promise to God and country. I vowed to protect my Wife, my Daughter, and two Sons that were bequeathed unto me, and my country, the United States of America. I feel as I have failed them miserably so. Following you will see a brief profile of one of my Sons. For one of the rare times in my life, I have little idea what to do, how to do it, or to whom. Any 411 anyone can provide to me would be received as well as possible. He is a 26 year old male Caucasian with Crow/Blackfoot Indian blood in his veins. He enlisted in the United States Coast Guard almost 5 years ago in seemingly excellent health. Nine weeks ago he started seeing blood in his urine. He started having very bad debilitating pain in his neck and right shoulder around the same time. The Doctor treating my Son said that there were 18-20 areas that showed up in the scan including his left clavicle, the spine and a rib that showed as cancer. They did not go into detail about the other areas just saying it's not in his lungs or his pancreas. They have determined that the kidney is the source of the carcinoma and apparently there are nodules on the cyst that he has had since he was 7- 8 years old. The Doctor has indicated that it is exceedingly rare fora benign cyst in a kidney to become malignant and very rare for a 26year old to develop kidney cancer as the norm for this cancer is 50 - 70years of age. He indicated that the causative agent, if there was one would have been a contact with something 20 or so years ago. He also said that he has never seen such an aggressive form of cancer in a 26year old. My Son has now become a case study in the oncology field as his cancer is so unusual and aggressive.  So far they have identified his cancer as adenocarcinoma. The Doctor has said they will come up with a treatment plan to help my Son to have the best quality of life for the next 6 months, 1 year or ten years.
