The Ruy lopez or the Spanish is the best opening in Chess

It is commonly used by all begginers,intermediates,and even the masters

It is Bobby Fischer's favourite opening as you devolop two pieces ,control centre ,as well as castle

In many tournaments if you want to have a good start then always use this opening as it causes no harm and also damges the structure of the opponent in some cases

That is why i think that the Ruy lopez is the best opening in chess
