So first, things to avoid:

1. You should never offer people super admins, admins, or coors to "bribe" them to join your club. Because if you did this, some of the people might do damage to your club or just do no contributions.

2. Second, you can add emoji such as 🔱 or 👑 or 💖 in you description which can bring people the theme of vibrant and attract more people to join the club.

3. Try to invite titled members to this club because having titled members means the strength of the club is strong which caused the club to have tilted members.

4. Use an image which have similar theme with the club's name for the logo of the club. You can search things similar with sth theme background in search engine.

5. Lastly, have more club events so people will know that this club is active.

Even though you have a club channel to invite members, but you can only invite 30 members each day (try to find the active members in chess.com). Therefore, you should invite more members to join. You can go to forum and find the people who are talking and then ask them to join your club in private chat. You can use a paragraph with the structure of this "Hi, can you please join my club? It is a club which provided a helpful environment to people who want to learn chess (you can post link here if you want to)." Try to ask more people to join and if they told you to join their club do not regret it, immediately join and tell them that you joined now is their turn to join your club.
