Zugzwang : Compulsion to move

What is Zugzwang ?

• Zugzwang means compulsion to move.....if I further explain it is the obligation to make a move because it is your turn and that move you make will worsen the position no matter what ,as the rule when it is your turn you have to move a piece and you cannot skip your turn but no matter what move you make it will worsen the position.

From the above explanation you might have understood what Zugzwang is.......to perfectly grasp the concept let us dive into a game where this principle of chess will save the game for one player

I hope you understood what Zugzwang is? again , It is basically the obligation to make a move which means when it is your turn you cannot skip your turn and you are obliged to make a move but no mater which move is played it will create a winning advantage to your opponent and it is a helpless situation for that player
