Ding Liren - The 12th Highest Rated Player in History

Ding Liren is regarded as one of the strongest chess grandmasters to ever set foot on Earth! The Chinese grandmaster is currently the World Champion, having defeated GM Ian Nepomniachtchi in the most recent Chess World Championship of 2023. 

                

Ding has been the top GM of China since 2015, and he achieved his peak rating of 2816 in late 2018, when he peaked at World No. 2 in the rankings- a pretty crazy feat that can only be achieved by phenomenal players like him. 

                 

Having played countless games in his life, I'm sure he's had many insane, and fun games, but this is one that I think is pretty good:

Ding Liren's performance in this game was really great. This is a game that I found on agadmator's YT channel, and I really enjoyed it!
