Edition #64: Spook-tacular Halloween!

Hello, and welcome back! So, we did not have any answers for the riddle(too bad) and we are going to continue...

Solution to Riddle:

Q: A man goes to sleep and turns off the light. When he woke up the next day, there were many dead people due to his actions of turning the light off. How is that possible? (3 points)

A: He was a lighthouse keeper. He accidentally turned the lights off, and many ships crashed with people on board.

So, tomorrow is the big day. Yes. Halloween. And get ready for my not-so-scary spooky story. Actually, I might do 3 stories, just in case they're not too scary. It will release once I find some stories on the 'net. (XD)

And today's blog will consist of facts about halloween. These are strictly meant to memorize and to use it tomorrow to brag in front of friends and family that you know a bunch about halloween. So here we go.

Spook-tacular Halloween Facts:

- Halloween dates back to 1745. (Go like this to your siblings: "Did you know (fill fact #1)")

- Finding a spider on halloween is considered good luck! (Go find some tomorrow. Maybe find one today, and then look at it tomorrow again.)

- The first Jack-O-Lanterns were made from turnips.

- On average kids who trick-or-treat bring 11,000 calories worth of candy.

- The Jack-O-Lantern borrows its name from a stingy guy called Jack.

- The world record for the fastest pumpkin carving is 16.47 seconds.

- Count Dracula was not the vampire's original name.

- If you are over the age of 13 in Belville, Missouri, you cannot ask for candy. ()

- Pumpkins are a fruit, not a veggie(Who knew?)

- In Hong Kong, Halloween is referred to as the Festival of the Hungry Ghosts.

- Harry Houdini passed away on Halloween Day, 1926

- It is believed that if a child is born on Halloween Day, they can talk to spirits...
