Epic Clash: GoldenPhoenix987 vs. BalakrishnaRao1963
It's a New Year, and with it, is a new blog series. After 2+ months of being dormant on my blog, I decided to erupt again with new ideas, and came up with a new series. I have designed multiple thumbnails for future blogs by myself, and weekly Monday or Wednesday, I will be posting a new edition. In these blog posts, I will be doing analyzations of my games, or if you want your guys's games as well!
This edition I will be analyzing a 5|0 game with a random opponent, @BalakrishnaRao1963. He was a very strong opponent, but in the end I dominated him.
The game started out normally, with the Philidor Defense, Bc4 variation. At move 4, my opponent started going aggressive, and we traded bishops. After that trade, both of us started going on the defense, building up and developing all of our pieces.
On move 18 and 19 we traded our rooks, which gave me a positional advantage as my opponent's king was completely locked in behind the three pawns. I made a move to trade the bishops and the knights, which turned out to be bad for me.
At this point, I gave pointless checks with nothing to do, which weakened my position immensely, and I blundered two crucial pawns. After forced rook trade, I was two pawns down, which is very crucial in the endgame.
But soon enough, my opponent moved his king to the wrong spot, giving me an opportunity to force it into a position where I could promote my pawn to a Queen. This gave me a huge advantage, finally causing my opponent to fall under the pressure and resign. Overall, a very balanced game played by @BalakrishnaRao1963. GGs!

Hope you enjoyed the post! Do YOU have any games you want me to analyze? Post 'em down in the comments down below!
