Veselin Topalov - The 10th Highest Rated Player in History
Veselin Topalov is one of the best chess players to have ever played the game; a GM from Bulgaria, he was the FIDE World Champion from 2005-2006! Like I previously mentioned, his peak classical rating of 2816 is tied with Ding Liren and Hikaru Nakamura! Topalov still continues to play chess, persisting in the World Top 25 even after so many years!
Over the years, this legend has played some of the most amazing games ever, and here is one that will blow your mind!

One can really take away a lot of things from this game, especially things such as piece coordination and the relative value of pieces based on their positions and development on the board.
