Every player is alert and awake when it comes to chess. They are ready to win and fight. But some players miss many tactics and feel frustrated. Today I will be showing you a quick guide on the 5 most common tactics.
#1. The Pin
The pin is a tactic that forces a piece to not move or loss of game or material.
Let's see some examples.
Sometimes there are refutations to the pin and you have to be careful.
Take a look at these examples:
Next tactic is the fork.
The fork attacks two things or more at once usually with a knight, bishop, rook, or queen.
Knight Fork 1.1
Bishop Fork 1.2
Rook fork 1.3
Queen fork 1.4
Last but not least.
The X-Ray / Skewer.
This idea is a motif that attacks 2 or more pieces in a row to capture the ones behind.
