Chess in the Stream: Archive 81

Archive 81 is a Netflix series that involves a man who restores damaged videos getting sucked into the mysterious doings he sees on the tapes.

There is no shortage of creepy people, and when creepy people meet in the dingy basement of an old apartment building, they can be up to only one thing... chess!

Is it a chess cult? Possibly, and they must bring their talisman everywhere, as this appear to be a travel set.

No one actually plays chess in Archive 81, not even ghosts.

Speaking of travel sets, one showed up in this week's episode of Peacemaker, which has already featured a table set. Alas, this one also appears rarely used.
