Tournament Update #11: They've Taken the Moon Away

* I ended my run in the 2nd round of the 2022 Chess.com Daily Chess Championship with 16 wins and 6 losses. I'll almost certainly finish 3rd in the group of 12. I'm proud of my performance, and my hope is to improve next year by advancing into the 3rd round. I highly recommend this humungous annual tournament for players of every level.

* I was also eliminated in the 4th round of the Perpetual Monthly (November) Series, finishing 3rd in a group of 5.

* Knock Em Out Slow - Still waiting for the second round to begin.

* Open Daily Cup 1 (Fast/Knockout) - Advanced out of the 2nd round with two timeout wins. Still waiting for the 3rd round to begin.

* Macrinus 20 (Chess 960) - The 3rd round of this tournament, which began last July 1, just started. I'm one of the 18 players remaining.

* Perpetual Monthly (December) Series - I advanced to the 3rd round thanks to ties, but I was certain it would be the end of the road, since my two opponents are rated 1800 and 1950. Yet I've managed a win against each of them and am virtually certain to advance to the final round.

* Monkey Unrated 4 - I clinched 1st place with a perfect record! Now I just await the final games to complete so I can claim my gorgeous trophy.
