Knights are Queens, but better in many cases. Forks are hard to foresee, especially when the forking piece is not even on the board. Most chess players have a hard time keeping track of knights already.
Pawns are basically Queens, assuming you can set up a position where you can promote in a few moves.
Castling in many cases is not the preferred move.
Chain checks allow you to put down a bunch of pieces - just remember that unless you check with a knight, your opponent gets to do the same!
Watch out for the pawn bulwark. It calls for many back-rank mates!
Do not place your pieces until you see a tactic that just wrecks your opponent.
Remember you can't drop a piece on another piece but you can drop pieces in to block check and to deliver check/checkmate
Drop pawns in on the seventh/second rank to threaten promotion but remember you can't drop a pawn in a promotion square
Don't use gambits that you would do in normal chess
Go pawn grabbing
Bishops are a better pice to take in crazy-house so don't give the opposition your bishop
Don't let you knight get pinned as it could add a lot of potential in a attack later on in the game
