How To CRUSH The 4 Move Checkmate
The easiest trap that begginers fall into is the 4 move checkmate. The 4 move checkmate is called Scholers mate. And if someone played it against you and he/she won, you might think,"No way!!! This guy had a very simple trap!!! If someone plays it against me again im going to lose!!!!!!!!!!"
But suprisingly it's a MISTAKE to play the Scholers Mate! Let's take a look at what even is s collers mate!
SCHOLLERS MATE
Schollers mate is just e4 e5 and Qh5
Like what?! The computer calls this a "Book move" but I call it a mistake since it's VERYYYYYYYYYY BAD! Also note that the queen is attacking the pawn! To defend the pawn do nc6 to guard it. The "mate coming up move" is bc4 (another book move as the engine calls it). What you need to do here is to BLOCK the queen with the g pawn otherwise...
lets say you attack the queen with the knight and yeah... you lost! So play g6. Qf3... looking like just saving the queen and you can develop your bishop but the queen is attacking the F7 square!!! Here is the last move to not get mated! The brillant (not brillant but the best move and i would play it) is NF6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That, of course, stop the queen from mating you! And you just stoped the 4 move checkmate!!!
And of course a sample of what could happen!
