How to win when you are up a piece

Now going for tactics when you are up a piece is not bad but if you trade and your opennent trades rooks or queens with you then when you go to the endgame its easier to win!  Remmeber that there is not points for winning fast, sometimes you just have to win slow.

HOW TO FORCE A TRADE

If your opponent is smart he/she will not trade.  What you want to do is force a trade.  How do you do it?  Well, if you have 2 pawns more and you lose a pawn to check the king while forcing a trade a queens then, you have 1 pawn and should be easy to win.  Try to check the opponent king to go that as I told you.

MY GAME THAT I WON

This "tactic" works everytime but let me show you an example of part of a game that i won using this.

So i had an extra knight in this position and the queen moved to c2 to check me.  Suprisingly is was the best move.  But I used the tactic in this position.  If you don't remeber it's check the king and make a fork (if you don't know what a fork is click here (https://www.chess.com/blog/HEDGIECHESS/chess-tactics-explained-fork) Queen e2 check and I force a trade of queens.  I won in 11 more moves and it was pretty easy.

END OF THE BLOG

If you use this i will say that you will win a game simply by doing it!

Good luck trying it!!!
