Opening traps You Need to Know 3 + BONUS!
This time for the trap it's for black. Memorize it because you might not know when it's usefull!
1. SLAV DEFENCE
Yes i know another Queen's pawn opening. But this when happens a lot with out doing the queen's pawn opening. On with the trap. d4 d5 c4 c6 i use the slav a lot against the Queen's Gambit. Very solid. Now white still can attack the pawn with nc3 but black defends it with nf6. So far so good, pretty equal. Nc6, Still adding presure!!! This is the neat trap bd3! It seems like black is winning a pawn here but he isn't.
Now let's say white plays bg5 to capture the knight then some moves later maybe get an extra pawn. Good move right? Now i will shock you by saying it's a blunder. Here's the trap, Play Ne4. You don't want to move a piece twice in the opening but there's a good reason.
The knight is already attacking the bishop so the white knight takes it. Pawn takes ok, now what?
E3 is a nice move right? Getting your light squared bishop out. No problems right? Not so, Black can play Qa5 check because it wins the bishop on g5!!! Black won a bishop and should go on to win.
2. BONUS!!!
Bounus trap! This trap comes from the french defence e4 e6.
White gets the center, ok d5 e5. Black tries to pressure the pawn on d5 so a common move is c5. C3, the best move. Qh5 another common move putting more pressure on the d4 pawn. Nf3 defending it.
Here's the trap if black keep's on taking the pawn.
The queens are lined up so bishop check!!!!!!! Winning the queen! Black is lost and has no way to save his queen. A nice trap.
Part 4 coming soon!
