How do I secure my account
How I Secure My Accounts: A Simple Yet Effective Strategy
In today's digital world, securing your online accounts is more important than ever. With data breaches and hacking attempts on the rise, a weak or reused password can make you an easy target. That’s why I follow a simple, yet effective strategy that helps me stay one step ahead.
Whenever I create a new account, I don't waste time trying to come up with a clever or memorable password. Instead, I type a completely random mix of letters, numbers, and symbols — something like @h9F!7kL#28qz — and use that as my password. Since there's no way I’ll remember it off the top of my head, I immediately save it in two places:
1. A secure notepad file on my device
2. A physical copy written down in a notebook or diary I keep safe
This way, my passwords are hard to guess or crack, and I always have a backup if I forget them. I avoid using the same password for multiple accounts and make sure each one is unique and strong.
It might seem basic, but this strategy has saved me from a lot of trouble. If you're not using a password manager, this method is a great starting point for staying secure online
