Refining my Style

Magnus Carlsen is famous for being extremely methodical, and choosing openings that ensure that he will be able to comfortably play without major problems. I decided a couple of months ago that I should follow his approach, and shifted to a completely new set of openings (for example, I have made the switch from 1. e4 to 1. d4). I now search for positions where I can play actively without giving my opponent any real chances. After a couple of months of mixed results, I think I have made progress (including gaining 250 rating points in Live Blitz):

With results like this, I feel like breaking 1700 might be possible before summertime. Cool
