Queen Sacrifice
Hello and welcome to my blog! In todays puzzle we have a Queen Sacrifice.
Chess.com's Definition
Chess.com says that "A queen sacrifice happens when a player voluntarily lets the opponent capture their queen. The player offering the queen sacrifice does so to try to gain an advantage like more material, a better position, or checkmate."
Famous Match
In 1858, a man named Paul Morphy played against Duke Carl and won with a Queen Sacrifice.

The game is shown above on move 16 when Morphy moved Qb8+ the following move by black was Kxb8, allowing Morphy's rook to checkmate with Rd8#

Conclusion
Queen Sacrifices aren't cool just because they look awesome, but also because they can be a turning point in a game lead the way to a checkmate.
Good Luck in your next game and watch out for more Queen Sacrifices!
