The Ministry of National Education Primary Education and Sports , decided to appoint a temporary committee to manage the Royal Moroccan Chess federation
A statement from the Ministry stated , that a decision had been issued to appoint a temporary committee charged with managing the affairs of the Royal Moroccan Chess Federation
in implementation of the requirements of Article 31 of the Physical Education and Sports Law 30-09, to settle the situation of this federation “against the background of the imbalances it has known, which have led to a deficit.”
In his orientation speech, Mr. Benmoussa stressed that the appointment of the temporary committee came in a circumstance that required correcting the course of the sport of chess, as the current situation of the league had a negative impact on the practitioner and on the image of Morocco
The temporary committee members are :
- Bouchra Kadiri head of the committee
- Muhammad Al-Hajj vice-chairman
- Anas Al-Tawabi general secretary
- Abdel-Ilah Al-Zaji treasurer
- Ilham Kariba advisor
The appointed Committee will undertake several tasks such as :
- Managing the federation affairs and activities
- Ensuring the continuation of sports activity
- Taking all necessary measures to settle the situation of this national sports body
- Preparing the necessary conditions for holding its regular general meeting to elect a new director’s office.
the real challenge of the provisonal Committee lies in restoring confidence and reuniting all components of the chess family as soon as possible .
