What is a cliche? What isn't a cliche? Can we ever say something truly original? And if so, what is the "magical" line that divides originality from mere imitation?
The answer depends on whether you view people as naturally good or evil. This topic is a new concern (post-middle ages, especially after the enlightenment). Or if you view them as good at all. cliches essentially mean you act upon someone else's wishes. But if you're evil you need cliches! Only as a good person you should be independent, not always.
Since individuality differs across the global spectrum, let's hear what everyone has to say about it.
