Respect My Time: A Message to Late-Night & Random Challenger
Listen up, people. If you think sending me a challenge at 3 AM is a good idea, think again. Just because a status makes it look like I’m “online” doesn’t mean I’m sitting there waiting for a challenge. Respect my time. Have some common sense.
And to those who send challenges without so much as a DM or an intro, who even are you? If I don’t know you, and you just pop up with a challenge out of nowhere, don’t expect me to accept. Basic courtesy goes a long way.
Before you hit that “send challenge” button, ask yourself:
- Have I sent a DM first to check if they’re up for it?
- Is this an appropriate time, or am I just assuming they’re free?
- Have I introduced myself, or am I just a random message in their inbox?
- Am I being considerate, or just throwing challenges into the void?
If you fail to do any of the above, don’t be surprised when I hit BLOCK. Because, frankly, I don’t have time for mindless spamming. Be better. Be smarter. Have some common sense.
