Hello! Everyone, Hope you guys are having a great time!

In this blog we will be working with an opening system against white's 1.e4

Let us begin...

#1    The idea behind 2...a6 :

The first question that arises to many players is that, why do we go with a pawn move on the flank, when we can play in the center and improve our pieces first ?   I feel that the reason behind this pawn move is that, I (black) want to know what structure white is going to go with. Black also have his own structural idea behind this which we will see later in this blog.

#2    The General position after which various sidelines starts :

Ok! thumbup I hope you guys got to know the first few moves and their purpose. Let's now get a bit deeper into the O'Kelly Variation starting with 6.Nf3.
