My first Chess Club

Hello All.

 As the name suggests, I am but a humble student here to learn from people that have been playing Chess much longer than I. I dabbled a bit with it a bit in my school days but never really found anyone else that seemed as interested in it as I. Growing up in a podunk part of southern Maryland, there were no Chess Clubs to be had. Now that I am a bit older and have some friends that enjoy playing chess, it is time for me to hit the tactics trainer and get some learning under my belt. I shall consider being a member of this site, my first chess club.
