My Games Against Chess Streamers - Part 1 - Eric Rosen

Welcome to my brand new series where I delve into my very own games against Chess' most popular streamers. Over the last 10 years, I have had the opportunity to play many of Chess.com's most popular broadcasted, some of them before they were even famous!

Win or lose, there are some super instructive games within and I hope you enjoy them.

International Master Eric Rosen

Eric Rosen is an International Master, Streamer, Youtuber, and Photographer hailing from the USA and possesses one of the largest followings in the chess world. Eric has visited my own country (Australia) on a number of occasions and enjoyed playing tournaments here with regularity before covid. Eric's name has become synonymous with the Stafford Gambit as well as his trademark line 'Oh no my queen'.

The Score

For the purpose of this series, I will highlight the score between myself and highlighted streamer in blitz games. Against Eric, the score is 2.5-1.5 to him with all four of our blitz games being played in 2019.

The Sole Win

Although messy and not exactly precise, this game probably demonstrates the need to 'create chaos' in positions where you feel under pressure or down.

The Worst Loss

A bout of carelessness overcame me during this game. A draw is not a draw until you shake hands!
