Hello,

Looks like your hungry for chess! Let me serve you the food.

---------------------------------------------

Mithrabha Guha Indian chess player has secured the GM title in the Novi Sad tourney in Serbia at the age of 20.

The Indian beat GM Nikola Sedlak of Serbia on 11/08/21 has so far scored 7 points with 6 wins 2 draws and a loss to Russian GM Vladmir Zakhartsov in the 7th round.

The Indian player had scored his 2nd GM norm at the Sheikh Russel GM tournament in Bangladesh on 10/26/21 and had crossed the 2500 ELO barrier in the second round of the tournament.

As you need to have 3 GM norms and have to cross the 2500 Elo barrier to recieve the GM title, Guha has secured the GM title after securing the final norm at the Novi Sad tourney in Serbia.

Guha achieved the GM title just two days after Sankalp Gupta did so during an event in Arandjelovac, Serbia to become the country's 71st GM.
