The London; The Easiest Theory To Learn
The London System is a somewhat simple systematic opening that is easy to learn from beginner to expert. Do not take me too seriously, as I am only 1150 rapid and 1250 blitz but I know a lot of theory on the London System. The main line is:
A good idea in the London System is to have a supported knight on e5. Another essential is to control the e4 and e5 squares. Remember, when black plays Bd6 challenging your bishop on f4, play Bg3, so it will be unsafe for black to take, and giving white a comfortable position.
A book I would suggest is called "The London System In 12 Practical Lessons". If you have any book suggestions, leave a comment! Play this often and analyze your games when you do. Get as good at it as you can, as this system is a powerful weapon.
