End the Game with Perfect Endgame !!

This blog is not just for beginners, it's for everyone who faced difficulties in the easiest Endgames.

Endgame: I don't know the perfect definition of endgame but in Endgames we are left with very less pieces and our king is bit safe in centre too.

Things to remember:

  • You should have rook behind your pawns supporting them to promote.
  • Walk your king towards centre
  • Take the Opposition (I will explain below)

1. Winning King and Pawn Endgame

On move 3 our king was standing against the black king which forced him to go off the defence of promotion .
If the pawn is on A or H file the game could end in draw.
2. Drawn King and Pawn Endgame:
If black king could reach the promotion square and the promotion square is on A or H file the game will end in a draw.
3. Two Rooks Endgame (Or Ladder Mate) :

Get the Rooks on adjacent files then push the opposite king to one side , if you are pushing them on 8th rank then your rook should  be moving the same path.
Block the above rank with one rook and check them with another one.
If the king attacks then protect it by another one.
Always remember you move your Rooks turn by turn.
4. Single Rook and Queen Endgame:
We make a box with our rook with the help of our King . We should NEVER CHECK them.
We take the Knight opposition with the queen but when the opposite king reaches corner we bring our king or it could be a stalemate (Draw).
5. Two Bishop's Mate:
We push the king on back rank move 20. Was a waiting move an th opposite king was forced to move on other side then we block that square ( from  which the king moved last time) and repeat .
Two Knights cannot mate , Single Bishop Or Single Knight can't mate .
But Bishop and Knight Check mate is possible .
