Brilliant Move:

The move must involve giving up a piece or an exchange (like a rook for a bishop ,knight , pawn). A brilliant move is not a sacrifice if the player was already losing the piece anyway.

Player should be loosing and that sacrifice should be taking him her to winning position.

Caution : Don't Go and throw your pieces Boom - Boom. No. You have to calculate all the possible lines before sacrificing.

They Don't come in your eyes directly..

You should know your opening stuff. Because

In this game Nxe4 was a brilliant You won a pawn!!

Nxe5 was a brilliant sacrifice DAMIANO DEFENCE
