Avengers Doomsday. Where's Tom? And is RDJ being overpaid?
Good morning, good afternoon, good evening or good night. Welcome to another blog by the one and only IceConeDragon. Before we can even start this blog with my yapping, we need to give credit to the person who gave the idea of this blog. @AaravRoy_25 . Big round of applause for him. Now we have got to sort out the first part of this movie before we even begin. So buckle in on your chair without a seatbelt, take out the non existent popcorn out of the microwave and start to read this blog.
Is there any decent hype for this movie? People are saying that Disney ruin everything and stuff like that but in truth the hype for this movie isn't bad. It's just viewed that way because of the MASSIVE hype for the Minecraft movie when that came out. The whole, RDJ playing Dr. Doom thing seemed absurd to me since RDJ already played Iron man. So in my head the only thing that would get me to shut up and watch the movie was if Dr. doom is a variant of Iron Man that changed his story and became evil. Or Disney could just ignore that entire fact and not notice that Dr. doom looks like one of the avengers that died. Plus the hype from *ahem* *Doomsday AI trailers* *ahem* then you can really get all the hype you want from this movie.
What are the bad parts of the movies? You know the way I said that Doomsday AI trailers are because of the hype? Yeah, they're also super annoying if you were just a Marvel enthusiast being tricked into watching someones garbage AI slop movie trailer. Please just stop spamming those videos onto YouTube they just ruin everything. Also, where is Spider-man? He didn't appear in the cast which means he will be in the multiverse catching the venom symbiote and bonding with it. Deadpool and wolverine also seem to be missing but those three missing characters should be back in secret wars. Come back Ryan, come back.... Its crazy to think that we went from fighting a titan with the power to destroy a universe to fighting a guy in a green robe.
The cast of this movie, who are they? Well, I can tell you that it's everyone except spider-man, deadpool and wolverine. Nah I'm just kidding but the cast for this movie is decent. The x-men are coming to the MCU, including Channing Tatum's Gambit. Was amazing in deadpool and wolverine. Professor X, Beast and more are also coming. Wait, isn't one of the marvels trapped in the Fox universe? She was announced in the cast. Also, that movie came out in 2023 which was before the movie was even confirmed and the name was still Kang Dynasty. Of course we have got to have the fantastic 4 if we are fighting against Doctor doom, they are the main superheroes of the universe doom comes from. We also have the new tray of Avengers including new captain America and new Falcon. We also got the mighty thor. I wonder how the guardians are doing. They weren't announced for doomsday. You obviously can't forget Shang-Chi and Hulk. The highlight of the movie is RDJ being dr. doom also being paid a whopping $100 million! Just to compare. The first Harry Potter movie got 110 million for everything. And Disney are paying 100 million just for doctor doom.
Will this movie be a box office hit? Probably, knowing that captain America holding Thors hammer was the chicken jockey of 2019. But if I'm guessing, the movie probably won't hit 1 billion and will probably hit maybe a bit lower. Around 800 and 900 million. But the whole production is going to cost a hell lot of money. Is it worth it though. Yes, yes it will be.
