The Meowscles Family: Fortnite's Famous Cat
67, welcome back to another blog by @IceConeDragon, I know I haven't been blogging very recently, and that's because I left being social here for Christmas, New Years, a week in Italy, Reddit and Fortnite. So it was a lot of distractions, and I kinda forgot to post anything. I have a blog draft I started a month or two ago. Not very good. But now I can combine one of my distractions with a blog so I hopefully actually finish it. I have a similar picture in a club called The Fortnite Kids which I am SA (super admin) in. I've always desired these skins, since I was very little, since my cousin has them. So then, without further waiting around, let the blog begin. Starting off with the main character in the group...
Meowscles
So this character is actually the 2nd oldest character by age of existence in Fortnite. Introduced back in Chapter 2 Season 2. The exact date being, Feb 20th, 2020, so almost 6 years ago now. His role, is literally a pet for Midas I think, and a secret agent working for Midas, close friends with Midas' daughter Jules.
Meowscles actually came from a loading screen where it just showed the head of the cat and nothings else (except the top of some abs).

Rex, made a full portrait of the cat, as a big, buff cat and posted it one Reddit, so Epic Games saw this and added Meowscles to the game. The only seeing the head bit is referenced in the Ch2 S2 trailer. 
yeah, so now we have most of his lore covered. Now to see more lore...
Chapter 2 Season 6. In this season, Meowscles eats a magic can of tuna, or toona
and turns into Toon Meowscles, an animated version of Meowscles.
This edit style was in the shop recently, but I got Bad Kit instead, more on him later. He has a built-in icon emote, the song made by Trippie Redd.
The next Meowscles style is a collaboration cross between Meowscles and Sabretooth, called Meowtooth. 
This was the same season I started my Fortnite account. So The Marvel X Fortnite season Absolute Doom. Over 1 year ago. Unfortunately, I do not have this skin. He is the arch-nemesis of Peelverine, the Peely version of the Wolverine.

Like how in the Meowtooth bundle you get the Peelverine plush and in the Peelverine battle pass page you get the Meowtooth plush. Meowtooth was well received by fans, getting 69.28%, but being a terrible Marvel skin in that season.
Chapter 4 Season 3, Purradise Meowscles is a great Meowscles variant, and I was dearly hoping that he would be a shop skin, but he's actually a quest skin.
The Purradise Meowscles skin is way better than the OG Meowscles, especially with the stylish hair and cool shirt. My Cousin probably has the skin. Now moving away from Meowscles let's look at his siblings, of which he has two. But let's start with a closer looking relative...
Phantom Meowscles
An amazing skin, one of the only two Phantom remakes of skins. He may look like an alternate Meowscles, but he is actually his brother. I really love the design on this skin, especially the purple cracks on the arms. One weird thing is that this Meowscles doesn't have guns on him. And I love the creepy smile feature, works well with the eyes. Sadly, there haven't been any variations to this skin and honestly? It's perfect that way. I wish I had more to say about this skin, but I really don't other than that he comes from the shadow realm.
Meow Skulls
I had honestly thought that Meow Skulls was Meowscles kid, not his sister. Literally the emo aah. Weird how there isn't any cap-off edit style. It's also weird the way that most Meowscles family and edit styles come from the Battle Pass and not the shop. The OG white with starry eyes Meowscles edit style was called ghost Meowscles, but for the rest of the family, white with starry eyes is called cloud-nine.
Also, it would've been cool if the picture on the song "call it bad luck" was on her t-shirt instead of the demon thing. The fish bone jewellery really looks good, though there isn't a skull in sight on Meow Skulls.
The song for this character is pretty good. All these skins have full bundles, not like now, where the skins don't have an item for everything for the pass. But now, that covers all of Meowscles siblings but now let's cover Meowscles ex-wife...
Lynx
And no, when I say Lynx I do not mean the body spray I mean the Fortnite skin. The person behind the mask is in the person in the loading screen that inspired Meowscles (see above). This is the mother of Kit, Bad Kit and Katt. This skin is an OG skin, meaning in Chapter 1. The only OG skin I have is the Demogorgon. There are also 5 different versions of this skin, one of which I have, but the one I have is actually evil and works with the Dark Voyager [reality redacted]. The one I have is Void Walker Lynx.
the skin is still available today. Available until March 18th. Lynx has a sister called Alli, who is a crew skin from 6 years ago. Meowscles can actually be seen with a tattoo with a heart with Lynx written on it. Sad that Meowscles got divorced.
Well not that much to cover from Meowscles Ex-wife, now let's move onto the three kids.
Kit
Kit is my favourite in the bunch. The design of the mech is amazing. I actually bought the recently released Kit sidekick, the same cat but with no mech. There are two different styles for Kit. Cloud-Nine Kit and Shadow Kit:
I've always wondered how he controls the mech since those handles don't move, and the light on the mech, what's that for? It's never dark on the Fortnite island. The smoke on the back of Kit changed depending on which edit style you wear.
Like for the normal Kit there is normal smoke
for the cloud-nine style the smoke is rainbows, less pollution I guess and for the action Kit style it releases mysterious purple trails. Just like the cubes power.
Kitbash is a robot that is made by Kit.
Kit has a long line of amazing tech, his mom, Lynx, helping Kit with the mech, because Kit's father, Meowscles works as a spy. Kit also has two mythic weapons that you can only get by defeating the Kit boss. They are Kit's shockwave launcher and Kit's charge shotgun.
Both very strong weapons. There are multiple shockwave launchers, but this one tops all. It's better than the epic and legendary shockwave launchers and also better that the exotic shock n' slow launcher since the shock n' slow freezes you midair and makes you vulnerable to damage. The charge shotgun has to be one of the top 10 best shotguns in the game in my opinion. Another thing to keep in mind about the charge shotgun is in the name. The longer you hold the shoot button on this gun the more charge the shot gets and the more damage the shot does. On full potential, it is a 200 or one shot. The most it can do on no charge is 156 damage. OK, now we have moved on from Meowscles first child, let's move onto child two.
Katt
To make one thing clear here, Katt is only kinda Meowscles's child, she is Meowscles kid, but she's the child of a Meowscles from another dimension but I decided to add her in anyway since that basically counts as his child. I really like the mech design on this skin. Reminds me of the Bart and Lisa Fortnite skins. Bart's skin being less advanced and more like it was built in a garage, just like Kit's. And Lisa and Katt's mechs being really advanced technological mechs.
Katt was introduced back in chapter 5 s1 in march 1st 2024 as a Fortnite crew skin, meaning you had to pay 11.99 to get the skin as part of a bundle along with all the Fortnite battle pass'. If you want to see all the different crew edit styles for Katt, click here.
Also, this very advanced skin was introduced in the least classy season, like literally, the only classy thing in this image is Peter Griffin. Like yo who adds that skin in a season called under ground💀💀💀
I didn't play during this season, I started in Chapter 5 s4 a few months later. Now let us move onto the last child of Meowscles, his personality is in his name...
Bad Kit
Literally the evil version of Kit. Though there's a ghost version. Don't know why, doesn't really make sense. I'm showing the ghost version right now. Though unlike Katt, this skin was introduced at just the right season. Chapter 6 season 2, Lawless.
I bought this skin in the shop for 1,200 v-bucks. It's a great skin. The mech and the clothes on the mech are amazing. There is really not much to talk about on this skin since there isn't really any lore on the skin. All there was to say was about the skin. This was the latest skin from Meowscles family. But now let's check the final addition in this blog. Meowscles cousin...
Cate Meowdy
Okay, this skin is mediocre. Definitely my least favourite in the line. This skin was actually released on the exact same day as Bad Kit. So it's also the newest. I have to say that this skin has great clothes. She is part of the purrfect DIY set. Seriously, none of the last two skins don't have any lore behind them since they are so new. This skin doesn't fit the season though. Anyway, let's move onto the end.
