Brought Forth By The WORD Of Truth.

..."Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive The Crown Of Life, Which The LORD Has Promised to those who love HIM. Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am being tempted by GOD"; for GOD cannot be tempted by evil, and HE HIMSELF does not tempt anyone. But each of us is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust. Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death. Do not be deceived, my beloved Brethren. Every Good Thing Bestowed And Every Perfect Gift Is From Above, Coming Down From The FATHER Of Lights, With WHOM there is no variation, or shifting shadow. In The Exercise Of HIS Will HE Brought us Forth By The Word Of Truth, so that we might be, as it were, The First Fruits among HIS creatures." James 1:12-18.

The explanation, the 'unravelling' of the preceeding six verses is given in verse 18. In The Working Of GOD'S Will HE Begets us By The Word Of Truth - Through The Gospel Of JESUS CHRIST, we are born again By Grace through faith. "

For i am confident of this very thing, that HE WHO Began A Good Work In you Will Perfect It until The Day Of CHRIST JESUS. " Philippians 1:6.

"For i am not ashamed of The Gospel, for It Is The Power Of GOD for Salvation To everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek ( Gentile ). For In It The Righteousness Of GOD Is Revealed from faith to faith; as It Is Written, "But the Righteous shall live by faith." Romans 1:16-17.

"So then, my Beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your Salvation with fear and trembling; for It Is GOD WHO Is At Work In you, Both To Will And To Work for HIS Good Pleasure." Philippians 2:12-13.

Verse 12 of James chapter 1, "for once he has been Approved", meaning through testing, he will Receive The Crown Of Life Promised By GOD To those who love HIM.

"Blessed Be The GOD And FATHER Of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, WHO According To HIS Great Mercy Has Caused us to be born again to A Living Hope Through The Resurrection Of JESUS CHRIST from the dead, to obtain an Inheritance Which Is Imperishable And Undefiled and will not fade away, Reserved In Heaven for you, who are Protected By The Power Of GOD Through faith for A Salvation ready to be Revealed in The Last Time. In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in Praise and Glory and Honour At The Revelation Of JESUS CHRIST; and though you have not seen HIM, you love HIM, and though you do not see HIM now, but believe in HIM, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of Glory, Obtaining as the outcome of your faith The Salvation of your souls." 1 Peter 1:3-9.

"Consider it all joy, my Brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its Perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." James 1:2-4 .

"I have fought the Good fight, i have finished The Course, i have kept The faith; in the future there is for me The Crown Of Righteousness, Which The LORD, The Righteous Judge, Will Award to me on That Day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved HIS Appearing." 2 Timothy 4:7-8.

Verse 13 of James chapter 1, We are to have The Spirit Of CHRIST ( Romans 8:9 ); we are to have The Mind Of CHRIST ( 1 Corinthians 2:16 ). We are to be imitators Of CHRIST ( 1 Corinthians 11:1 ); we are to be imitators Of GOD ( Ephesians 5:1 ). And Like The Holy ONE WHO Calls us we are to be Holy ourselves in all behaviour ( 1 Peter 1:15-16 ), just as James Writes through The HOLY SPIRIT, 'Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am being tempted by GOD"; for GOD cannot be tempted by evil, and HE HIMSELF does not tempt anyone.'

 By The Work Of The HOLY SPIRIT, we, "And everyone who has this Hope fixed on HIM Purifies himself, just as HE Is Pure. Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness. And you know that HE Appeared in order to take away sins; and in HIM there is no sin. No one who abides In HIM sins; no one who sins has seen HIM or knows HIM. Little children, let no one deceive you; the one who practices Righteousness is Righteous, just as HE Is Righteous; the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The SON Of GOD Appeared for this Purpose, that HE Might Destroy the works of the devil. No one who is born Of GOD practices sin, because HIS Seed Abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born Of GOD. By this The children Of GOD and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice Righteousness is not Of GOD, nor the one who does not love his Brother..." 1 John 3:3-10.

"And we have come to know and have believed The Love Which GOD Has For us. GOD Is Love, and the one who abides in love abides in GOD, and GOD Abides In him. By this, Love Is Perfected with us, that we may have confidence in The Day Of Judgement; because as HE Is, so also are we in this world." 1 John 4:16-17.

"By this we know that we love the children Of GOD, when we love GOD and observe HIS Commandments. For this is The Love Of GOD, that we keep HIS Commandments; and HIS Commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born Of GOD Overcomes the world; and this is The Victory that has overcome the world - our faith. 1 John 5:2-4.

"and have put on The New self who is Being Renewed To A True Knowledge According To The Image Of The ONE WHO Created him." Colossians 3:10.

"for bodily discipine is only of little profit, but godliness Is Profitable For All Things, since It Holds Promise for the present life and also for The Life To Come." 1 Timothy 4:8.

Verses 14-15 of James chapter 1, "Thus Says The LORD Of Hosts, 'Ask now the priests for a ruling: If a man carries Holy meat in the fold of his garment, and touches bread with this fold, or cooked food, wine, oil, or any other food, will it become Holy?' " And the priests answered and said, "No." Then Haggai said, "If one who is unclean from a corpse touches any of these, will the latter become unclean?" And the priests answered and said, "It will become unclean." Then Haggai answered and said " 'So is this people. And so is this nation before ME,' Declares The LORD, 'and so is every work of their hands; and what they offer there is unclean..." Haggai 2:11-14.

"Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are; immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, out-bursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which i forewarn you just as i have forewarned you that those who practice such things shall not inherit The Kingdom Of GOD." Galatians 5:19-21.

"So then, Brethren, we are under Obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh - for if you are living according to the flesh, you must die;..." Romans 8:12-13.

Verse 16 of James chapter 1, "...but if By The SPIRIT you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live.For all who are being Led By The SPIRIT Of GOD, these are sons Of GOD." Romans 8:13-14.

"But The Fruit Of The SPIRIT Is Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, faithfulness, Gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no Law. Now those who belong to CHRIST JESUS have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live By The SPIRIT, let us also walk By The SPIRIT. Galatians 5:22-25.

"Test yourselves to see if you are in The faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that JESUS CHRIST Is In you - unless indeed you fail the test? " 2 Corinthians 13:5.

Verse 17 of James chapter 1, "Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behaviour his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom. But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not be arrogant and so lie against The Truth. This wisdom is not That Which Comes Down From Above, but is earthly, natural, demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing. But The Wisdom From Above Is First Pure, then Peaceable, Gentle, Reasonable, Full Of Mercy And Good Fruits, Unwavering, without hypocrisy. And The Seed Whose Fruit Is Righteousness Is sown in Peace by those who make peace. " James 3:13-18.

Verse 18 of James chapter 1, "having been buried With HIM In Baptism, In Which you were also Raised Up With HIM through faith In The Working Of GOD, WHO Raised HIM from the dead." Colossians 2:12.

"Grace And Peace Be Multiplied To you in The Knowledge Of GOD And Of JESUS our LORD; seeing that HIS Divine Power Has Granted To us Everything Pertaining To Life And godliness, Through The True Knowledge Of HIM WHO Called us By HIS Own Glory And Excellence. For By These HE Has Granted To us HIS Precious And Magnificent Promises, in order that By Them you might become Partakers Of The Divine Nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust. Now for this very Reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge; and in your knowledge, self-control, and in your self-control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness; and in your godliness, brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love. For if theseare yours and are increasing, they render you neither useless nor unfruitful in The True Knowledge Of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. For he who lacks these is blind or short-sighted, having forgotten his purification from his former sins. Therefore, Brethren, be all the more diligent to make sure about HIS Calling And Choosing you; for as long as you practise these things, you will never stumble; for in This Way The Entrance Into The Eternal Kingdom Of our LORD And SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST Will Be Abundantly Supplied To you." 2 Peter 1:2-11.

"Know this, my beloved Brethren. But let everyone be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; for the anger of man does not achieve The Righteousness Of GOD. Therefore putting aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive The Word Implanted, Which Is Able To Save your souls. But prove yourselves doers of The Word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves. For if anyone is a hearer of The Word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror; for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he has immediately forgotten what kind of person he was. But one who looks intently at The Perfect Law, The Law of Liberty, and abides by it, not having become a forgetful hearer but an effectual doer, this man shall be Blessed in what he does. If anyone thinks himself to be religious, and yet does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this man's religion is worthless. This Is Pure And Undefiled religion In The Sight Of our GOD And FATHER, to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world." James 1:19-27.

"To the pure, all things are pure; but to those who are defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their mind and their conscience are defiled. They profess to know GOD, but by their deeds they deny HIM, being detestable and disobedient, and worthless for any Good deed..." Titus 1:15-16.

Again, the warning of how we, now in CHRIST, once were, and of The Grace By Which we have been Saved, if indeed we are walking in a manner worthy of The LORD,

..."And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of Wrath, even as the rest. But GOD, Being Rich In Mercy, Because Of HIS Great Love With Which HE Loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, Made us Alive Together with CHRIST ( By Grace you have been Saved ), and Raised us up with HIM, and seated us with HIM In The Heavenly Places, in CHRIST JESUS, in order that in the ages to come HE might Show The Surpassing Riches Of HIS Grace In Kindness Toward us in CHRIST JESUS. For By Grace you have been Saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, It Is The Gift Of GOD; not as a result of works, that no one should boast. For we are HIS Workmanship, Created In CHRIST JESUS for good works, Which GOD Prepared Beforehand, that we should walk in them." Ephesians 2:1-10.

Throughout The Epistles we are warned of obedience of faith, to be mindful of how we walk, how we speak, how we present ourselves to others, how we treat others, to look out for the interests of others above that of ourselves, our self-control in all things, what we understand as True Knowledge, not listening to doctrines of demons nor deceitful spirits but listening only to and believing in Sound Doctrine, our perseverance in the things to godliness, brotherly kindness, the foundation of all being genuine love; this being adherence to The Gospel Of CHRIST, The Work Of GOD In us through faith.

Works cannot Save, GOD Tells us this Clearly enough. Yet,

"What use is it, my Brethren, if a man says he has faith, but he has no works? Can that faith Save him? If a Brother or Sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, be warmed and be filled," and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that? Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself. But someone may well say,"You have faith, and i have works; show me your faith without the works, and i will show you my faith by my works." You believe that GOD Is ONE. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder. But are you willing to recognise, you foolish fellow, that faith without works is useless?... ...For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead."James 2:14-20 & v26.

It is By The Work Of The HOLY SPIRIT, that Comes through faith alone, that we will do works. Because how can it be possible that one is changed, conformed to The Image Of JESUS CHRIST and yet not desire to do works? On the other hand, the one who does not live by faith in The SON Of GOD In Truth, yet does 'works' believing them to be as of what James is speaking of, is being quite deceived. And he is deceived because works cannot Save, that is, our works cannot change the heart, our works cannot conform to godliness, our works cannot Inherit The Kingdom Of GOD, our works cannot make so that the perishable may put on The Imperishable. GOD'S Work, By Grace through faith Does this, and this is through faith in CHRIST Alone.

The Work In us is The Work Of The HOLY SPIRIT Which Comes through faith in JESUS CHRIST. In seeking GOD, our faith in HIM, HE Will Fulfil our desire in knowing HIM, and not only this but our desires will be HIS Desires and our will shall be conformed with HIS Will. "Though our outer man is decaying, our inner man is being renewed day by day." 2 Corinthians 4:16.

Thus we cannot fail to desire to seek the good of others, even those who would revile us. As The Apostle Paul says, "Be imitators of me, just as i also am of CHRIST." 1 Corinthians 11:1.

..."We know love by this, that HE Layed Down HIS Life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the Brethren. But whoever has the world's goods, and beholds his Brother in need and closes his heart against him, how does The Love Of GOD Abide in him? Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and Truth. We shall know by this that we are Of The Truth, and shall assure our hearts before HIM, in whatever our heart condemns us; for GOD Is Greater Than our heart, and Knows All Things. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before GOD; and whatever we ask we receive From HIM, because we keep HIS Commandments and do the things that are pleasing In HIS Sight. And this Is HIS Commandment, that we believe in The Name Of HIS SON JESUS CHRIST, and love one another, just as HE Commanded us. And the one who keeps HIS Commandments abides in HIM, and HE In him. And we know by this that HE Abides In us, By The SPIRIT WHOM HE Has Given us." 1 John 3:16-24.

This is nothing whatsoever of merely an external showing, not merely a lip service to GOD, not tradition learned by rote; all of which amount to works of the flesh and the doing of is of no benefit to any, holding nothing of Receiving The Promise Of The Inheritance in CHRIST JESUS.

But it is that which radiates from the heart within, The Light that shines in the darkness, through The Indwelling Of The HOLY SPIRIT, that we are conformed to The Image Of The FATHER'S SON, JESUS CHRIST, to The Glory Of GOD The FATHER; that we have The Spirit Of CHRIST, this is what comes through true faith, and it is only through faith that we may even keep GOD'S Commandments.

... "The Sanctifying Work Of The HOLY SPIRIT that we may obey JESUS CHRIST and be Sprinkled With HIS Blood..." 1 Peter 1:2 .

"...The Sanctification without which no one will see The LORD..." Hebrews 12:14

Only through obedience of faith. GOD'S Promises do not fail. What GOD Promises HE Gives. GOD'S Promise was to all of Israel, but all of Israel did not Receive Of The Promise, as many fell in the wilderness. This does not mean that GOD broke HIS Promise. This, of course, would be an impossible thing to happen. They did not Receive because of their disobedience to All That GOD Said. And so it is for all In CHRIST JESUS, and we have been given their example as a warning to us.

And The Apostle Paul writes in his letter to The Church at Corinth, 1 Corinthians 10, of the warning of the examples of Israel's mistakes for us to take heed of and avoid. As he Writes In The SPIRIT, ..."Now these things happened to them as an example, and they were Written for our Instruction, upon whom the ends of the ages have come. Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall..." ( v 11-12 ).

..."By this we know that we love the children Of GOD, when we love GOD and keep HIS Commandments. For This Is The Love Of GOD, that we keep HIS Commandments; and HIS Commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born Of GOD overcomes the world; and this is The Victory that has overcome the world - our faith..." 1 John 5:2-4.
