Forcing a rook move by the opponent sacrificing your legendary peice, the Queen, to deliver checkmate on the next move. 

The knight jumps in checkmates the opponent king with it's peices blocking it's movement and putting the king in jail. It is like the opponents peices turned against the other king and mated it's own team. 

The rook, blocking the king's only legal move away from the checking knight, was gonna take the queen to win by 9 points, but made a blunder instead. 

Any other peices block the king to stop it's legal moves from being played and the opponent feels to win the next game but may be done that again but learnt his/her lesson for the future games of chess he will play.
