How To Beat The Nelson Bot!

Hi everyone! From what I've been reading on chess.com, a lot of beginners and some intermediate players struggle with beating the Nelson bot, so in this week's blog I'm going to show you all how to beat him!

I played this game as black to show you all how to defend his stupid early queen moves, here's the game! 

Tips for beating Nelson

1. Try to exchange queens. Usually Nelson will act really stupid and hang loads of pieces when you exchange queens.

2. Learn to defend the Scholar's mate. The last thing you want against Nelson is to get checkmated in 4 moves, so you've got to learn how to defend the Scholar's mate. I made a blog on how to do this and you can read it here.

3. Make sure to develop your pieces quickly! If you don't develop your pieces as quickly as possible, his early queen attacks will obliterate you.
