A Little About Me

I am 53 years old. I live in Hope, Arkansas and I teach Truck Driving at a local Junior College. My father taught me to play chess before I turned 10 years old and I've been playing since that time. I enjoy the game and I am just now beginning to study various openings and defenses. I have been playing the King's Gambit and I really enjoy it but I'm far from perfecting it.

Chess is a hobby but Guitars are my passion. I've been playing since I was in my teens but have only gotten serious about it in the last 5 years. So, while I'm waiting on my opponent to make a move I'll be jamming on my Paul Reed Smith or my Fender Telecaster.

I was a member of another chess site for several years but recently switched to Chess(dot)com. I like the site. Let's play!
