Here is the game of two chess masterminds against each other, Levon Aronian and Alexander Grischuk. This was the decisive Round 9 game that would decide the 3-way tie for first place if either player won, so the stakes were tremendously high. This game will get you on the edge of your seat!

With a rook-for-pawn sacrifice on the seventh rank, things were looking quite bad for Aronian. But, the plan, was that Grischuk was low on time, so Aronian could distract him. Then, finding the winning move, Aronian played the brilliant 30. Qe7!! to basically freeze all of black's pieces, making the game a clear win, after 30. --- b5, 31. h4,
 a5, 32. h5, Rg5, 33. Rf6, Rxe5??.

This forced a mate in two, which made Aronian victorious.
