Chess Training and a few recent games
Since summer break has started, along with looking for a seasonal job, I've been able to spend a good bit of time on my chess. Recently, I picked up Lev Alburt's Chess Training Pocket Book, 300 most important positions and ideas, and am very impressed with it. As a way to improve my visualization and pattern recognition, I have been memorizing the positions in the book and have seen immediate progress. Here are a few games that I have recently played!
The next game was a game where I played very badly in the early middlegame, but rebounded with extremely sharp, and unsound play to take home the point.
Finally, we have one of the most complicated games I've played to date. After a missed opportunity, the game becomes incredibly complicated. I won't bother analyzing the many complicated lines in this one and will leave it to you.
