 (Week 5): Love is a Chess Board

 Love was built around a castle

Of rook pieces. It is as patient

As the game of chess.

Love feels imperial and pure, with

Moves as sacrificial as a pawn

Piece.

Love is a knight at war solely for

the sake of his queen.

It is hope and faith to win over

 a heart as firm as the bishops.

Love is also black and white and

As ugly as a checkmate. Fallen pieces,

With no moves.

But love can be unconditional too.

Like a queen protecting her king.

Now tell me, isn't love as elegant,

As the chess board?
