I got word from another member that NDSteve recently passed away. I think he became seriously ill in mid-May.

He and I shared some teams, competed with one another, co-admined some teams.  I knew he had health problems, but I did not ask.

At chess, he was a maniac - sometimes playing over 500 games at a time.  I think maybe it kept him alive a little longer.  He was quite a strong player (>1900) when he took his time.

I am going to miss him.  RIP, my friend.  Remember him in your prayers.
