Bughouse Puzzles
There's a good website for bughouse puzzles. All of these puzzles include both of the boards. Some of the puzzles are local puzzles--mating on your board. Some involve sacrificing for a piece for your partner. Others involve asking your partner for a piece. These global puzzles are a nice touch.
There are different membership options. Free members get 5 new puzzles a day. Paying members get unlimited amounts of puzzles. Why not put money into bughouse, and support people who create useful resources for the game? A chess grandmaster can make a living playing, teaching, and writing. Bughouse mastery, and the creation of bughouse material, don't yet confer these advantages. There's no reason why that should always be the case.
The current situation doesn't make a lot of sense. It's as if watching grass grow or watching paint dry are considered dignified and honorable ways to make a living, but writing a novel or painting a picture are frivolous and superfluous. We should fund interesting and deep activities, instead of stale and stagnant ones. Some people make millions playing the same Caro-Kanns and Queen's Indian Defenses, but bughouse players receive virtually nothing.
