Lessons
A lesson one must learn repeatedly is that chess is a game. It is not a serious endeavor for people like me. It has serious implications, let's not be mistaken there. It is a game. It teaches strategic thinking. It teaches improving one's patience. It teaches speed in depth. It teaches all kinds of useful things. Raging when you lose is the wrong attitude. It isn't easy, but if you think about your brain should adjust. Just remind it and you'll make progress. I will make progress on my mental game. I will make progress on my chess game.

I think that the ... cheating drama that has occurred recently is a result of paranoia -- and perverse incentives. I am not an expert and I'm not trying to say that people who have accused others of cheating are wrong. But along with any real phenomenon comes the paranoia. And I think that is pretty bad. So if you hear me accusing random people of cheating -- don't listen to me. It's just the paranoia speaking.
